When I set out to build my Instructional Design portfolio, I didn’t want it to be just a collection of projects. I wanted it to tell a story — one rooted in learning science, emotional intelligence, and the belief that people rise when they are supported, challenged, and seen.
My portfolio reflects my professional identity as a learning experience designer: human-centered, emotionally intelligent, outcomes-oriented, and grounded in real-world performance. Every element, from the design structure to the tone of the content, expresses my philosophy: Learning should feel meaningful, modern, and deeply human.
I believe the best learning experiences blend clarity and creativity, evidence and empathy, offering not just information but transformation.
How My Portfolio Expresses Who I Am as a Designer
My work highlights three values I care deeply about:
Humanity: I design with empathy. People are not just learners; they are leaders, thinkers, feelers, and potential in motion. I build experiences that honor that complexity.
Strategy: Behind every course and job aid lies intentionality: learning objectives, behavior change principles, and performance outcomes. Learning should be beautiful, actionable, and effective.
Growth: Learning is a living process. My portfolio reflects the mindset that growth happens through reflection, practice, and curiosity in the classroom, in the workplace, and within ourselves.
How My Artifacts Connect My Skills to My Professional Goals
The artifacts I've chosen each serve a purpose in demonstrating my range:
Leadership & EQ-focused learning experiences show my commitment to building leaders who communicate courageously and lead authentically.
Sales enablement videos and job aids reflect my real-world business background and my ability to support performance in fast-paced environments.
Microlearning, multimedia, and eLearning design work highlight my design versatility and digital fluency.
A strategic business case shows how I think beyond content and into organizational impact, talent development strategy, and measurable outcomes.
Together, these artifacts show a through-line:
I design learning experiences that change how people show up in their work, their relationships, and themselves.
My artifacts also point toward where I’m going: Continuing to build emotionally intelligent leaders, scaling learning strategies for organizations, and designing experiences that make growth feel possible and inspiring.
The Story My Portfolio Tells
If there's one message woven throughout my portfolio, it’s this: Learning is more than content. It’s connection. It’s the bridge between who we are and who we can become.
I don’t just design training. I design for confidence. I design for clarity. I design for courage. I design for growth that lasts.
Thank you for exploring my work. I’m grateful you're here. Here's to learning that leads us forward.
